Kicking and Screaming (1995) …. Zach

Eric Stoltz was originally supposed to play the part of the video store cashier. The financing fell through and he agreed to do a bigger part so they would agree to put up the money. Something like that. Anyway, shot my scenes in a day. One of the first of the “Stoltz Era” projects. Noah Baumbach decided that it would be good if I had a big ass and gut, so we stuffed my pants. Fun!

I remember reading the script and thinking “They weren’t making movies like this when I was their age… fuckers.”

High Points: Hanging out in the porn section of the video store, working on a good movie.

Low Points: Having a small part.
