Odd coincidence regarding Up The Creek.

You seem like good people, and it's unfortunate this experience was so negative. It takes a lot of guts to perform a new work, especially in a town that, while theatre friendly, doesn't take a lot of chances in the larger venues. Hennepin Stages is not a space that is usually attended by those who like edgier choices. Overcoming that hurdle was probably a bigger challenge than the producers anticipated. <br/><br/>I hope your next venture is a more positive one. I can say in all honesty it has remained one of my favorites to this day (and probably one of the more influential ones). Don't minimize its worth. And "Ski School" is in the same league as "Up the Creek," in my honest opinion, and I say that with affection and without irony. You can't properly compare one film over another. "Kicking and Screaming" was a good film and movies like that may get more critical attention, but it's apples and oranges with only celluloid in common. My final two cents. Dean-
